Obituary
Ester Ruby Campbell, born on February 15, 1929, in Flint Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, in Indianapolis Indiana. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
For 33 years she worked at Michigan Bell as a telephone operator. Ester was a hard worker who loved her job and enjoyed connecting with people over the phone.
In her free time Ester enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends all over the country. She had a network of people who loved her dearly and always looked forward to hearing from her. She also had a passion for traveling and exploring new places.
Ester is survived by her daughter Pamela (Richard) Hope, grandchildren Justin (Amy) Kani, Devin (Amber) Kani, Jasmin (Zachary) Reynolds, Alexander Hughes and great grandchildren Miles Mallory-Kani, Quinn Kani and Roman Kani. She is also survived by her sister Flora Cotrone. Ester is preceded in death by her son Gregory Hughes.
Ester will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. We will always remember her kind and loving spirit. Her positive impact on everyone around her will never be forgotten.
