Barbara Ann Mitchell

Barbara Ann Mitchell (aka BAM), was born on May 1, 1949 in Detroit Michigan to Norman and Jennie Mitchell and graduated form Pershing High School in 1967.

Barb is survived by her brother Stewart Mitchell (and family); her cousin Shirley Burch (and family); her best friends Geri Wojczynski, Karen Szumny, Sue Tomenello, Larry Tomenello and Mary Washington (all coworkers from BCBSM) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends across numerous states (Alabama, Detroit, Ohio, Florida, Kalamazoo, New York, Maryland and Mt. Clemens). Barb is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Jennie Mitchell.

Barb worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for 40 plus years. She loved traveling, crafting; such as decorating shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, and doing ceramics.  Barb enjoyed line dancing and going to the movies with friends.  Her favorite actor way Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
